There are two pathways currently available in this training, group mentorship and private mentorship, both led by Faelan Shiva. Each pathway has its own unique benefits and requirements which will be outlined after the initial course descriptions below.  Applications are required for group and/or private mentorship. 

Priest/ess of the Elements - Level 1

Initiation in this course begins with official recognition as a Dedicated Man/Woman/Person of Spirit. Upon graduation of this level, you will be initiated as a Priest/ess of the Elements.  This means having a solid foundation and understanding of the Elements, a healthy and grounded understanding of magical work, and being qualified to hold ritual circles as a Caller of the Elements. A 7 day abstinence period from recreational drugs, including cigarettes and alcohol, is required to begin.

There is a lot more doing than studying!  While there is a plethora of valuable (and not so valuable) information out there, this training is designed on building your active participation and understanding in the magical arts, and as a mediator of spiritual energies.

If you participate and engage with the course work, you will grow, change, and develop as a practitioner.  This work is not based on a self-help program or ideal, though you will likely feel much more powerful and grounded as a result.  The aim of this course is to teach you how to hold and mediate spiritual energies so that you can be of service to the world, to each other, to our fellow humans, to the living creatures, and to the land.  Only you will know what that level of service looks like for you, and it will develop over time.

Required Tools:

A journal and a willingness to explore and engage is all that is required.  A small altar table, or square of cloth and a candle will be highly encouraged.  Questions are a valuable learning tool as well!

A new group will open for initiation on  March 11, 2024 from 6-8pm!  Live classes will be held the 2nd Monday of each month in person in Reno, NV and online via live stream.  This is a hybrid class, you can join from anywhere. Priest/ess Seer (Level 2) 

Details and dates for 2024 coming soon!

This will be a separate course with graduation as an initiated Priest/ess Seer.  This will focus on your relationship with the unseen world and divination as a practice. Further details TBA. Course available in 2024

Priest/ess of Spirit (Level 3) 

This will be a separate course with graduation as an initiated Priest/ess of Spirit.  This will focus on ritual development, crafting and facilitating rituals on your own with a clear intention and outcome.  This will also be the level in which your chosen path of service will become an important theme. Further details TBA. Course available in 2025.

Each level of this training has its own value.  You do not have to proceed to the next level unless you feel inspired to do so! (Though all students begin with level 1)

Group Mentorship 

(Our current group is closed.  A new group will be open for enrollment in early 2024, with live classes in Reno, NV and live streaming to anywhere)

Priest/ess of the Elements (Level 1) 

March 20, 2023 - April 22, 2024 

3rd Mondays from 5-7pm PT, live in Los Gatos, CA  and online via Zoom (recorded for make ups).  The live stream feature is to enable long distance participation in real time.

Course structure:

In addition to the 2 hour monthly meeting there will be weekly homework assignments.  They are required for participation in the course, however they are designed to fit within the modern schedule and will generally take 1-2 hours per week.  

Sharing and discussion are part of the course requirements, which will most often happen during the monthly class. We will also have a FB group (or other online discussion forum) for questions and ongoing conversation.  

More Details:

There are no refunds on this course, however you can discontinue participation and payments at any time.  If you choose to recommit at another time, you may join a new group from the beginning.

Private Mentoring:

Priest/ess of the Elements (Level 1) 

This includes a monthly recorded class (30-90 minutes depending on content) AND a monthly hour long one-on-one live session via Zoom.  There will be weekly required homework assignments, however they are designed to fit within the modern schedule and will generally take 1-2 hours per week. 

This course can be completed in  13 months, however, it is also designed to allow flexibility of pace.  This can continue with monthly participation, or the mentoring can be put on hold to allow the student extended time to work on the material.  For instance, you may continue the monthly payments but take 2 or 3 months to get through one module, while still having your monthly one-on-one meetings, questions and discussion; or you may pause payment and mentorship and work with the material on your own until you are ready to resume active mentorship.  With the private mentoring model, you do not have to begin again with lesson 1.

Private mentoring can begin at any time, and does not have to wait until a new group begins.
